(Jamie might have a different version of this story :))
After Jamie and I went out for a late bite at Hacienda we sat and talked for a while. Soon realizing the time and emptiness of the restaurant we decided to leave. Jamie, being polite, went to unlock the passenger door first. The key appeared to be a little stubborn in turning, so Jamie applied a little more pressure. The application of pressure hoped to gain the result of an unlocked door, however the results reveled nothing but a bent key. Thankfully the misshape of the key didn't affect the drivers side door. Once inside the car we were able to chuckle about the twist of the key. For Jamie, those chuckles quickly seized in the discovery of the keys inability to fit the ignition.
In close observation it could be seen. Two of the keys teeth were twisted to a breaking point. Thus, at 10:30pm we began the phone calls. We remained in the car talking and laughing about our current situation as we awaited a spare key.
As movies ended and stores closed, the parking lot cleared. Long story short, an hour later a key had arrived. Jamie's father, Jeff, saved the day.

Notice, my fellow gentlemen, the dark side of Chivalry. But alas, this will not be my last confrontation with this age-old ideal...
Oh and thanks for being a good sport Meg!
